Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween. It was more like a week of Halloween. Carter got dressed up and went as a Pirate. He had a hard time deciding. He went from a dinosaur to Buzz Lightyear to a skeleton and finally a pirate, he was an adorable pirate. We started the week with a dress up party at Preschool on Thursday, then visiting the businesses in town for Nephi's Halloween Town on Friday and Trick or Treating on Saturday. Baby Darrin was dressed as a Pumpkin but feel asleep in his car seat every time we went out so I never got a good picture of him. We had a great time got loaded up with Candy. Carter has been really good to share his candy with mom and dad.

I told Carter to make a pirate face and this is what he came up with.

Carter got to Trick or Treat his Dad at the Hospital.

Trick or Treating at Halloween Town with his friends Gavin and Maddox. (Both dressed up as Buzz Lightyear)

Trick or Treating in Fayette. Gabby is a cute witch, Aiden is a Race Car Driver, Ian is a Monster and Carter is a Pirate.

Righteous Bandz

Just thought I would share this LINK It's for a really fun new product called Righteous Bandz. It's a spiritual take on the ever popular silly bandz. Why not stand for something when you are trying to stay with the trend. It's a great idea for Primary, Baptism Gifts, Activity Days or anyone that is L.D.S. Check out their website or look for them on Facebook for more information.

Darrin Brett Gledhill

We are happy to announce the arrival of our sweet little boy. He was born October 2nd 2010 at exactly 3:00 PM. He weighed 8lbs 10oz and decided to take his own time getting here. He was exactly one week past his due date. It just made us all that more anxious to get him here. Carter loves being a big brother. He is always concerned when "his" baby cries. Carter will even go get stories to read to Darrin. We love our happy little family.

Carter is 3!

For his Birthday Breakfast I told Carter he could have whatever he wanted. He asked for Captain Crunch, Scrambled Eggs and a Big Carrot that hasn't been cut.

He had a "Bug" themed Birthday Party. We went on a Bug hunt where we found some neat plastic bugs in the grass.

We helped the caterpillar grow. By playing Pin the spot on the Caterpillar.

We did a Lady Bug Pinata. It wasn't the best combination to have three year olds a well built pinata and a foam bat.

So Carter ended up jumping on the pinata.

The next day we had a family party. Carter almost shares a bithday with his Papa Bob so they shared a cake. We had so much fun having Grandpa's and Grandma's and cousins come help us celebrate Carter's Birthday. He is a great kid and we love him so much.

Grandpa & Grandma Jensen's

We have had a wonderful longstanding tradition of a BBQ and watching fireworks at Grandpa & Grandma Jensens sometime over the fourth of July Holiday. This year was no exception we enjoyed a great dinner cooked by my Grandpa and then a great fireworks show provided by the pyro-loving teenage cousins.

Fourth of July Fun

We had a wonderful Fourth of July. We were able to go visit Jordan, Stacey & Lincoln in Enoch. We did so many fun things including, going to the movies, watching fireworks, parades, candy, family, ice cream and so much more. We had a wonderful time. It was a great getaway. Thanks Jordan and Stacey for being such gracious hosts. We loved it.

Girl's Trip to St George

We had a Bown Girls trip to St George. It was a great trip. We all meet up in Cedar City for lunch then headed to the hotel in St. George. We lounged around the pool until it was time to get ready for the Play. We got all ready and went for a night out on the town. We went to Cafe Rio for dinner. (You can't go wrong with anything at Cafe Rio) The night was topped off by an awesome performance of Tarzan at Tuacahn. What an awesome show. I loved the entire thing. We had great seats and the weather was perfect. The next day we relaxed by the pool and enjoyed a late check out. We decided to splurge and go get pedicures at a Cosmetology School. Even my Grandma who hasn't ever had one in her life got one. Thanks Bown Girls for making it such a wonderful trip.

Enjoying the pool.
